The index, released by China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center (CTCTC) based in Shanxi, a coal-rich province, reflects the coal price levels and changes in the main production areas of China. It is published every Monday.

 

Analysts said that during this period, the production of coal enterprises in Shanxi province was basically normal. Affected by the epidemic in some areas, long-distance road transportation was restricted, but the purchase of downstream enterprises was relatively stable. The supply of some coal resources was slightly tight, and the prices of some coal types continued to increase.

 

With more than 10,000 registered coal traders, the CTCTC is the largest coal trading center in China.
