[Ferro-Alloys.com]Tsingshan Group and Baosteel have released their tender prices for high carbon ferrochrome in November, which remains the same in prices and purchasing volumes. The steadiness of high carbon ferrochrome can be seen through the new tender prices of Tsingshan Group and Baosteel, though the other major steel mills have not released their prices yet.
The LME nickel price dipped sharply in September and October, which caused the decrease of prices for ferronickel. The tender prices of ferronickel from the steel mills remained at ￥950-1,000/Ni, and the decrease of ferronickel prices eased the pressure of ferrochrome. In addition, the production rate is getting down due the dry season of Southern China, which keeps the ferrochrome prices from falling down further.
