[Ferro-Alloys.com] The Chinese largest steel mill HBIS increased its September ferrosilicon 72# bidding price to RMB6030/mt (delivered price) from RMB5990/mt in August. After the price released, the mills around HBIS also increased the September bidding price.

Some producers of ferrosilicon also raised the offers by RMB50 for the ex-work price, however, the mainstream price in China still kept stable with FeSi75# ex-word price at RMB5850-5950/mt and FeSi72# price at RMB5550-5650/mt.

In September, the utilization rate in ferrosilicon plants will slightly rise up based on more ferrosilicon projects putting into production and encourage from the government, which would release the tight supply for ferrosilicon.
