PrintEuropean carbon steel coil and sheet prices keep going up slightly, but the price is still lower than last year. Northern Europe HRC and CRC price was at €550/ton and €630/ton in last March, and now the price for coil and sheet was about €505-510/ton.
The European mills raised €20/ton with Q2 delivery in last week, the HRC price from ArcelorMittal with Q2 delivery was €540/ton, and €580-620/ton for CRC and HGI. The HRC price from Western-northern Europe with April delivery was €530-550/ton, but most buyers bid below €515/ton.
