PrintFerro-Alloys.com] It’s reported that Chinese Baosteel has announced to cut its export prices of stainless hot rolled coils (HRC) by around US$120/ton while it remained the export prices of stainless cold rolled coils (CRC) unchanged, applied for September deliveries.
According to the official of Baosteel, the firm’ price cut for stainless HRC was caused by slow demand. Therefore, it decided to cut the prices to meet market condition.
Meanwhile, Taiyuan Iron&Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless steel producer in China remained its export prices for stainless HRC and CRC flat.
