The relevant principal said that the enterprise had ever planed to decline by 100,000 won per ton. However, the customers did not receive their thought because they were afraid that it made unfavorable effect for the market. At the same time, the nickel price did not greatly change in recent time. Finally the POSCO determined to keep the stainless steel price unchanged.
Therefore, the October ex-work price list was as following. The 304 hot rolling was 3.2 million won per ton and cold rolling was3.47 million won per ton. The 430 hot and cold rolling price were respectively 2.52 million won per ton and 2.14 million won per ton.
