Print[ferro-alloys.com]Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless has announced to cut domestic prices for its austenitic and ferritic stainless rods by JPY 15,000 per tonne and JPY 5,000 pe rtonne for September to November contracts.
NSSC said that it decided to cut prices due to lower alloy costs and weak Japanese Yen during June to September. Also, the average nickel prices dropped by USD 0.5 per lb in the calculating period and the average ferrochrome prices fell by USD 0.145 per lb.
