In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of 99.7% manganese flake rose from RMB 12,500/mt (USD2,049/mt) to RMB 12700/mt(USD2,081/mt). There was so significant swing in raw material recently and this round of rise was promoted by market expectation. Spot supply was in shortage and manufacturers tried to elevate price as Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holidays were coming. Wednesday was the last day before Mid-Autumn Festival and market might continue to swing.
