[Ferro-Alloys.com] Steel futures opened lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active construction steel rebar contract for October delivery was down 13 yuan (about 1.84 U.S. dollars) to open at 3,579 yuan a tonne.
The most active October 2020 contract for hot rolled coils, mainly used in cars and appliances, was down 8 yuan to open at 3,546 yuan a tonne.
