For the first nine months of 2012, Japan imported 37,250 mt, down 10.9% from the same 2011 period. Russia accounted for 51.8% (19,297 mt) while Kazakhstan accounted for 22.2% (8,269 mt). Imports from South Africa were 18.1% (6,745 mt) while China

supplied 6% (2,235 mt).
