Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that Russian NorilskNickel announced to increase disseminated ore output at Zapolyarny Mine.
The proposal plan has been submitted to the Federal Autonomous Institution State Expert Appraisal Department for examination.
The project is designed to increase mine production capacity from 1.2 to 2 million tons of ore per annum as well as the construction of power, heat and water supply facilities for the mine, according to the company.
Meanwhile, the company has invested approximately US$621 million for the project and it expected to reach its designed target of the production capacity of 2 million tons in 2019.
In the meantime, the company will continue to adapt new technology with better performance for the production and technical development till 2025.
