Some steel plant halted their production for overhaul. The demand for ferronickel decreased. Meanwhile, it was said that some plants had halted ferronickel output. Both supply side and demand side were in lower level. The traders kept their goods to maintain the price. Today, high grade ferronickel was quoted at 940-955 RMB/Nickel, and low grade ferronickel price was 3450-3500 RMB/T.
