With continuous fusion of skin of the cored wire, the additives packed inside will enter into molten steel or molten iron slowly to achieve the purpose of secondary refining through the interactions between additives and molten steel or molten iron around (deoxygenation, desulfurization, metamorphism, spheroidization, vermiculation, alloying, etc.).

With rapid development of wire feeding technology in all fields, demand of various alloy cored wire has increased day by day. Core machine of high speed of manufacturing molding, high degree of automation and automatic quantitative feeding will be the development direction of production technology of cored wire in future.
