Ferroalloy Plant to Be Open in West Bengal by Maithan Alloys Ltd

Ferro-Alloys.com: Maithan Alloys Ltd (MAL) is among India’s leading manufacturers and exporters of niche value-added manganese alloys. Maithan Alloys Limited decided to start a greenfield manufacturing plant for ferroalloys in West Bengal. The investment is said to be 275 Carore INR. According to the sources the plant would produce about 120000 Ton/year of Ferrochrome. 

MAL board has also authorized the Executive Directors and Chief Financial Officer of the company to submit Resolution Plan under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process for acquiring manufacturing company (ies) under the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016 and/or by participating in liquidation proceedings, an official statement said.
