[Ferro-Alloys.com]On April 25, Mitsubishi Corporation announced that it would sell a 30.0% shareholding owned by the Company in Strand Minerals Pte Ltd. to Eramet S.A.

Strand Minerals has a 90.0% interest in Weda Bay Nickel Project in Philippines, and this interest used to be 66.6% owned by Eramet, 30.0% by Mitsubishi and 3.4% by Pacific Metals Co., Ltd.

As the shares owned by both of Mitsubishi and Pacific Metals are supposed to be sold to Eramet this time, Strand Minerals will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Eramet. From now, the interest in Weda Bay Nickel Project will be 90.0% owned by Eramet and 10.0% by PT. Antam Tbk.
