[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) has announced that the anti-dumping investigation against galvanized steel from Vietnam was terminated.

BlueScope raised the dumping allegation to the ADC on July 11th, claimed that there is a dumping margin of 16.26% from Vietnamese galvanized steel to Australia, which causing significant injury for Australia´s steel industry.

However, the commission said Vietnam´s galvanized steel export to Australia did not dump on Australia´s market and their small amount did not cause material injury for Australian steel producers. 

Australia imported around 12,524 tons of galvanized steel from Vietnam in 2013, accounting for 6.9% of the country’s total imports of this product.
