BHP Billiton Limited (BHPB) seems to have recently submitted its offer price of manganese ore as July 2015 shipment meant for China to respective customers individually. According to whom it may concern, the price remains unchanged from the prior month, and the price per 1% of Mn for Mn 46% Lump ore (GEMCO grade) is US$3.20, the one for Metallurgical Fine ore (Mn 48%) is US$3.00 and the one for South African low-grade ore (Mn 38 - 40%) is US$3.00. However, there is another information that the price of South African low-grade ore is US$2.70.

The port stock of imported manganese ore in China is up by nearly 80,000 tons from the end of May, and the downward pressure on the price from the customers to the import trading firms again becomes strong. On the other side of the coin, the sales price offered by major resource companies remains unchanged. 

For a reference, the manganese business has been shifted to South32 which was set up by completion of being spun off into a separate company on May 25.
