However, it is reported that two large factories in Shanxi planned to further expand ferromanganese production.  Shanxi Dongfang Resource and Develop company, with 300,000 tons of high carbon ferromanganese production capacity per year, planned to build another furnace and complete in Feb of 2016. Jiaocheng Yiwang Ferroalloy Co;,ltd also expanded production on ferromanganese and EMM to 300,000 tons in 2015.

In short, given severe competition, there is no doubt that Chinese manganese alloy would face trenmendous challenge further.
