[Ferro-alloys.com]This week the LME nickel price slightly increased by USD105/mt to USD14900/mt while the stock improved by 3720tons to 425562tons.on Jan.30th, Jinchuan nickel was quoted at RMB107800-108000/mt, rising by RMB250/mt compared with last week.

In recent week the low FeNi price maintained at RMB2650-2700/mt while medium and high FeNi price declined by RMB10 as medium FeNi with Ni 4-6% was quoted at RMB1050-1060/Ni and 6-8% was RMB1040-1050/Ni and High FeNi with Ni10-15% was RMB1070-1080/Ni.

As the operating rate of high ferronickel was low, the spot supply was not much and it was expected that the high FeNi price did not have large drop space. However, as both LME Ni and stainless steel was weak, the high FeNi price was hard to go up. In Feb., Tisco settled the tender price of high FeNi at RMB1060/Ni, Baosteel was RMB1090/Ni, Dongbei Special Steel Group was RMB1070/Ni and the latest price of Posco was RMB1080/Ni (delivery price with tax by cash)
