At the end of Jan., 2015, the low FeNi ex-works price reached RMB2650-2700/mt, rising by 6% in recent two months.

In view of the capacity release, the total operating rate of the FeNi in North areas of China was low, and one of the main reasons was the strict environmental laws. Specifically, operating rate in Inner Mongolia was 25%, Liao Ning province was 35% and Shandong province was 50%. In addition, according to the factories, most of them were in high demand for the nickel ores materials.
