[Ferro-Alloys.com] In the third week of October, calcium silicon price in China kept flat. Calcium silicon price in southern China was higher than the price in northern China. There were few calcium silicon factories in Sichuan. Now calcium silicon market was oversupplied, and that was because steel mills reduced their demand .
Unti lthe third week of October, quotations were as follows: CaSi30# was RMB10300-10400/mt in Shaanxi, RMB10000-10200/mt in Ningxia, RMB10400-10500/mt in Inner Mongolia, RMB10500-10600/mt in Henan, RMB 10400-10500/mt in Qinghai. CaSi28# was RMB10100-10200/mt in Shaanxi, RMB9800-10000/mt in Ningxia, RMB10200-10300/mt in Inner Mongolia, RMB10300-10400/mt in Henan, RMB 10200-10300/mt in Qinghai.
Calcium silicon export market was not well in China. China nearly didn’t exported calcium silicon to India in the third week of October. Calcium silicon price would still keep flat in late October.
