In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake stayed above RMB12800/mt (USD2065/mt). In Huangpu Port, export price was USD2100-2140/mt FOB.

Selenium dioxide price was stable. Ex-work price of 98%SeO2 stayed around RMB260/kg.

EMM market in Europe was also stable. According to the latest data of MB, warehouse price of 99.7% manganese flake in Rotterdam stayed at USD2350-2410/mt.

According to our survey recently, manganese briquette lost export advantage gradually since China government cancelled export tariff on manganese flake. Market demand for manganese briquette still existed, but alternative pressure from manganese flake increased significantly. CITIC Dameng Mining Industries Ltd (CITIC Dameng) sold only 4,427 mt of manganese briquette in the first half of 2014, down 16.3% year-on-year. As production cost of manganese briquette was higher than manganese flake, its market share might continue to decrease.

More EMM capacity would be put into production recently. Spot inventory would continue to increase. EMM market was predicted to be stable this week.
