It is reported that Tata Steel and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp (NSSMC)’s joint venture mill in India have started commercial production. 

The new mill’s annual capacity is 600,000 tons. The facility includes continuous annealing and pickling line. 

The company was named Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing & Processing, Tata Steel holds 51% and NSSMC keeps 49%.
