In April, the country’s imports of stainless steel products from South Korea decreased by 2.4%; those from Taiwan fell by 12.5% and those from China dropped by 21.21%, all compared to the figures in a month earlier.

Meanwhile, Japan’s import prices of stainless steel products averaged at US$2,995.53/ton in April, rising by 6% month on month.
