Officials of Guangxi Non-Ferrous Metals Group Huiyuan Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. (HUIYUAN) disclosed recently the company had not resumed production. HUIYUAN was established in August 2009. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangxi Non-Ferrous Metals Group. The company was located in Laibin City, Guangxi Autonomous Region and its major products were EMM and EMD.It took advantage of the rich manganese ore resource and power resource in Guangxi. It produced EMM using domestic mature "manganese carbonate method" and annual capacity was 30,000 mt. As EMM market was very weak, the company stopped production in April 2013 and it had not resumed production yet.

As macro economy was running weak in China, steel market and EMM market might go downward this week.
