打印[Ferro-Alloys.com] China will phase out 1.93 million tpy of obsolete ferro-alloys capacity this year, with silico-manganese and electrolytic manganese smelters likely to be hit most.
“This capacity cut is in accordance with smelter scale. All furnaces operating below 6,300kVA will be eliminated. The manganese industry has a lot of small furnaces,” Zhang Zengchan of China Ferroalloys Industry Assn (CFIA).
